These trainings are designed for therapists who want to expand their skills, understand complex presentations, and bring depth into their clinical work.This is for therapists who are ready to deepen their understanding of trauma, EMDR, Religious Trauma and/or ADHD and who want to feel more grounded, skilled, and confident in their sessions.
Advanced Trainings
Religious trauma hides in belief systems, purity culture, shame, obedience, and silenced identity. These wounds often show up as anxiety, depression, dissociation, and unresolved attachment issues.
This advanced 3-hour training is designed for EMDR therapists who want to confidently address the impacts of religious and spiritual trauma in the therapy room. You’ll learn how to conceptualize these experiences as systemic and developmental trauma, identify belief-driven blocking behaviors, and apply EMDR interventions across all phases of treatment.
By the end of this training, you will be able to:
Define religious trauma, spiritual abuse, and the impact of purity culture
Identify symptoms of religious trauma and belief-based blocking behaviors
Conceptualize religious trauma as both developmental and systemic
Apply EMDR interventions across all 8 phases of treatment, including belief-focused interweaves
Address shame, obedience dynamics, and spiritual wounds within the EMDR framework

This training is built for therapists who want concrete tools for working with complex trauma, dissociation, and sticky core beliefs. Cassidy combines case examples, demo work, and practical protocols you can use on Monday.
